You should consider buying the phone separately, then a SIM only contract.
Buying an iPhone handset alone (with a network), then getting a £10 sim might actually better deal for some people (as an example). I'd like to see it considered.

I think it should indicate if it is cheaper to buy the phone and go sim only if that is the case. Also include tariffs from cheap sim only companies such as giff gaff.

I am currently paying £15/month, having paid £120 up-front for my HTC Desire. I calculate that this saves me £120 over the 2-year contract, as the 'free' phone would have cost me £25/month.
