Option to use a phone while travelling abroad. Cost?. Europe roaming is okay but what about further afield? How about China, for example?
As in title. On Sim card basis only.

Make sure the price is right on recommended deals
The price displayed on your website for the Three Advanced Plan, unlimited data, texts and calls is £11 for the whole 24 months contact.
On the Three website, it is actually mentionned that this plan cost £11 for the first 6 months only then £22.This makes the recommendation wrong and the calculation way off.

A lot of very useful information to help me make my decision of changing to a different mobile supplier.

Adjust to take account of changes in roaming.
Monthly bill = £11 but new contract would amount to £1073 per month

I would like a wider range of providers to compare
I have an offer from Plusnet, and want to compare it with my O2. I can't do that with you. Plusnet are offering existing BB customers 1 gb + lots of minutes and texts (I don't ever come near my allowance usage) but the 1gb would be good and about 4 times as much as my current O2 deal. And the plus net deal is only £5 pcm. So would be cheaper.

Data roaming savings
I’m concerned that your calculations are misleading as they do not appear to have taken into account my oversees roaming savings with Three, and that the difference in comparison prices with alternative contracts is massively (and I do mean massively £££S) understated.

Please would it be possible to include cashback in comparison
Thank you for this site, but I have a suggestion.
My contract is on O2 24Months £28pcm but I get a total of £288 cashback over the 2 years, which makes my actual payment £16pcm.
Wondering if there could be somewhere that this can be included in the final calculation, (even if we have to manually edit the results) as each time I have to mentally take off £12p/m to get a truly accurate comparison.

Would be nice to be able to save actual cost in Billmonitor
I see there are a couple of articles already about Billmonitor using the standard cost of a particular plan when comparing best deals in the monthly analysis.
However, it should be fairly simple to save the actual cost of an individual's plan for use in the comparison and, therefore, not throw up "false" better deals.
For simplicity, you could keep just the adjustments so when the base deal changes, they can be applied to the new cost. If the adjustment is zero, by default, then the standard cost would apply.1 vote -
Really rationalise your recommendations
I currently pay £18/mo and BM has recommended: £4739.72
Really?

Incorrect 3 month averages
You have calculated my last 3 month Data Usage at 814MB when last 3 month bills show average around 5.5GB. Your recommended plan is wildly incorrect. Not happended before with my Three contract

Like the site but . . .
Perhaps you should re-evaluate your logic on savings as it has just suggested a £6 saving based on moving to exactly the same contract I am already on, the saving was only based on sending less premium rate competition texts
Previously it had suggested a 12p saving

Charitable Text Donations
When you analysed my bills you over stated my average bill because in the last 2 months I've made £10 charity donations by text. As a result, the average contract you've recommended is actually more expensive than I have and therefore isn't worth me switching to.
Its a great website/idea but this is a bit of a flaw. You need to be able to ignore these charity donations (on Vodafone, identified as "Monetary" within the Other Cost headings.
