Analyse Pay As You Go (PAYG) Bills
The bill monitoring is brilliant and I like the look of the rolling monthly contracts, but it would be really useful to know if they were better value than what I'm spending on payg at the moment
12 votesThanks for the kind feedback!
I think T-Mobile or Three are likely to be next on our task list due to their popularity. If you have a pay and go account then keep voting however, it will certainly help us prioritise what to work on next. -
buymobilephones.net
Please add the contracts offered on this site to your search results. The contracts offered for the HTC Incredible S are MUCH cheaper and for a shorter contract term than the ones that came up in your calculator results.

Support other suppliers in the calulations (not for importing data).
I realise that there are many demands on your time, and that keeping your data up to date must be a challenge, so please don't take this as a critism in any way. I was wondering whether you could include Ikea Family in the analysis, just as an example of a third party (MVNO) operator. They have very simple call pricing at the moment 9p/min for voice and 6p/sms
I have that at the moment, and I'm fairly sure that it's cheaper than the cheapest option currently displayed. For my very low usage.

Excellent concept, but expand into other other bill analysis?
I think bill monitor has a real unique concept, when I see ofcom have backed you that gave me peace of mind to know I am not getting ripped off. However, I do think that if bill monitor expanded into more markets like landline, energy, water, business, payg etc.
There are already loads of comparison sites, but this seems the most efficient site to use, that actually analyses bills and chooses whats suitable and meets the needs rather than whats best for business or the most paid affiliate.

My bill is in credit - billmonitor didn't
Last year T-Mobile overcharged me £350, which rather than refund they decided to add as credit to my account. It seems that billmonitor can't understand that! My last three bills were all just under £30, although deducted from a credit balance. Billmonitor seems to think that my average for that period was £42!

Recommend Pay As You Go (PAYG) Tariffs
I don't use my mobile phone much (probably about 60 minutes and 60 txts pm). If the site compared pay as you go tariffs as well as monthly ones it would be 10x more useful for people like me.

Please include the deals on buymobilephones.net as a cashback/reward site
The website buymobilephones.net offers a different range of cash back deals from those that I can see on this website, and I would love to know how they compare to the sites that are used by billmonitor at the moment.

Include loyalty deals
Example Orange Loyalty points are dictated by your total spend thru the year, not using your mins and txts and not claiming on insurance by calc this then it can be identified to give you a better deal via there retentions dept rather then upgrades dept. Also include insurance options currently paying and upgrading charge.

take into account device purchase, especially for iPhone.
Bill monitor tells me there are better deals elsewhere, but this is not the case whiltst my monthly bill is effectively being used to buy the iPhone from O2

Printable Summary
A printable summary of tarrifs would be really useful to print out and take to local phone shops to see if they can match the tarriffs offered.

Invest in some search engine optimisation and promotion
I had no ideas that you guys existed by the service you offer is great. Despite doing a number of searches on Google using terms such as 'mobile phone tariff chooser' or 'mobile phone bill analyser' you don't appear anywhere. You've really to to start getting yourself out there!

Include Phone Co-op
The Phone Co-op's mobile contracts should be included.

Take within-network minutes into consideration
I may spend 500 minutes a month calling three people, and only 50 minutes calling others. And so, unlimited 3 to 3 calls and 100 mins a month would be perfect (and cheaper), rather than 700 any network minutes. So I think that should be taken into consideration.
You could also analyse phone numbers called, and look up their network, to get that info.

By showing an estimated time of completion for bill analysing.
When you click analyse my bills there is no indication of how long it should take and it would be helpful if there was.

be more up to date with your 3 tariffs
I used the bill monitor to see if I could get a better deal for the upgrade phone I want - the HTC Desire. The calculator comes back with a basic contract of £20 but when you click the select link taking you to Three's website it shows a rate f £32 per month

Fix the handling of inclusive data on Vodafone tariffs
The system is recommending that I take a data bundle on tariffs that already include an adequate data bundle. If my usage for the past three months averages at 150MBytes and never exceeds 500MBytes, a tariff that includes 500MBytes of data is clearly adequate.

Correct inaccurate data about iPhone on O2
I was on an 18 month O2 iPhone contract at £35 per month. Your database shows my current usage on O2 would cost £73.23 per month!
When I looked closer it was because you were charging £30.60 per month for data usage. This is inaccurate as O2 are currently offering unlimited data usage. This is unfairly skewing the results and pushing O2 down the results table.
Please correct.

fix three's International Saver bundle calculation
I typed in 400 Minutes to Europe and Three was way more expensive (£200ish). I'm currently with three and I get these 400 minutes for £15 because I have International Saver, a bundle you say you support!
