Include pay as you go (PAYG) tariffs
I don't use my mobile phone much (probably about 60 minutes and 60 txts pm). If the site compared pay as you go tariffs as well as monthly ones it would be 10x more useful for people like me.

Pay as you go tariffs behave very differently to contracts – We hope to get them in as soon as possible but we want to make sure the site does a great job of representing the particular ways in which they work.

Three is next on our task list due to their popularity. Although if you have a Virgin account then keep voting, it will certainly help us prioritise what to work on next.

Let me remove weird periods from my assessment
I called home from abroad a lot one month which is very unusual for me. The assessment took this into account - it would be great if I could choose to exclude periods from the assessment.

This continues to be an issue that people find disappointing. We’re aware it’s a shortcoming in the current service and are working on how to improve it. As this is a fundamental change to how billmonitor works, we’re still considering the best way to implement this. Can’t give an ETA right now but it’s on our must-have list!

Include Mobile Broadband deals as well
As mobile broadband deals are also sold on contract/pre-pay basis (sim cards+modems), I think they should also be included including a rating of their quality of service(We all know they advertise and say a lot but reality proves otherwise - and this is especially useful to avoid getting stuck in lengthy contracts with pathetic quality of service like from three).

Agree this would be a natural addition to the current billmonitor serivce but the work would be non-trivial and we’ve plenty we want to add with just mobile so far. In addition, we feel perhaps contracts for tablets might be more popular – what do you think? Can’t give an ETA right now but will keep you posted on any developments.

help me to choose my contract based on signal strength
For people who live outside cities, signal strength can be a deciding factor in choosing a contract. Could BillMonitor search according to this somehow?

We would love to and we’re actively looking for the right partners who could provide this information reliably enough for us to include in our recommendations. We’re not satisfied with the reliability of the operators’ own coverage maps, so we’re looking itno third parties who could provide this data in an unbiased, objective way.

They are techinically PAYG – so we dont’ include them currently. However, we are aware that it works similar to contract payments and are looking into how we might include them in future.

Let me pick multiple phones and give me a list of tarriffs supplying any of them.
Currently you can only choose a single phone, but in fact there are several models that I like, and the only thing that separates them is what they are going to cost me. I'd like to be able to select several phones, and have it give me the best tarrifs that supply any one of them.

Allow selecting phones by features
Add a system so that rather than specifying individual phones, you can specify "any phone running the S60 operating system" or "any phone running the Google Android system". Those are the most important. After that "Any phone with a N megapixel camera" and "any phone without a camera", "any phone with web browsing etc."

indicate if unlimited data covers using the phone as a modem
I connect my mobile to my laptop via bluetooth and then I can get any network services, i.e. email and www. My provider seem to "allow" this to happen and it is a major saving as I do not need to pay for a dongle or additional extras but a colleague of mine cannot do this. I think having this capability is a big plus point if data and mobility are important to you and after all data is data so why should it mater what the originating device is or whether you are after email or the internet?

Including information about whether a network allows tethering or not is a great idea. We’ll definitely be looking into this and how to inform you in the best way possible.

Include data package selection on option menu
Include data package selection on option menu as Tmobile analysis not available. Then I would be able to assess if the Vodafone or Orange deal is worthwhile, and click through directly.

More in depth analysis of bills that have have unlimited calls within carrier
My bill beat your site by ~£10 as I make use of an unlimited o2 to o2 call bolt-on your current model does not take into account that despite having say a 500 minute contract, it could be possible to make calls either to landlines or intra-carrier in excess of 2000minutes by opting for a bolt on at contract sign up. O2 for instance offer between 1 and 2 free bolts on many of their contracts.
