Hi David, you can already do this – sorry if it’s not clear. On your results page, simply click on the blue “show more options” button at the top and you can easily set your contract length preferences from there.

  4. If you included business tariffs i'd pay for the service as i'd save money - excellent site!

This site could make efficiencies in company mobile phone costs by offering an analysis of business tariffs. This could generate a revenue stream for the site as I’d pay a nominal fee for such a service on the basis that I could potentially save 100's of pounds over the duration of the contract.

  6. Use 'please' & 'I' instead of 'pls' and 'i'

They seem incongruous with a financial services website especially as they are the only isolated use of 'txt' speak.

We have been updating the text in our mail messages and in the process a lot of the ‘pls’ has been revised out.

  7. More in depth analysis of bills that have have unlimited calls within carrier

My bill beat your site by ~£10 as I make use of an unlimited o2 to o2 call bolt-on your current model does not take into account that despite having say a 500 minute contract, it could be possible to make calls either to landlines or intra-carrier in excess of 2000minutes by opting for a bolt on at contract sign up. O2 for instance offer between 1 and 2 free bolts on many of their contracts.

  8. Include my usage of non-geographic numbers in your analysis

I seem to get billed for a lot of off-plan usage by calling companies that use non-geographic numbers such as 0800, 0844, 0845 and 0870 numbers which are not included in any bundles. Call costs vary widely between mobile providers and it would be great if this was included in your analysis.

  9. Ensure that the system doesn't include Care Plans within Total Cost of Contract

My BillMonitor has included my Orange Care Plan within the total cost of the contract.

Therefore, the suggestions given to me this time around indicated cheaper contracts were available. This was incorrect, as my contract minus the Orange Care Plan was cheaper.

Care Plans need to be included separately, any maybe even compared in their own section too.

  10. Ensure contract recommendations are correct when linking to web sites - none had 500mB data claimed

Checked out all the deals which claimed to be cheapest for HTC Desire HD on O2 - but none included data (as you claimed) without buying a £5/month bolt-on from O2

  11. Recommendations near contract end

I think it would be better if I could specify my contract end date so that BillMonitor didn't tease me with all these great deals for the next 18months!!! This way, rather than get fed up of receiving the emails I will be thankful for the advice that I receive.

We now automatically detect when your contract ends and give you the right recommendation for the right time in your contract term. We hope you’ll feel these recommendations come at a better time for you now!

...but change contract, assuming I can unlock my phone. What are the best SIM only deals based on my usage.

  13. Providing Username & Password

You may be an ethical group of people but to provide my username and password to someone I don't know goes against everything we're constantly being told in the press. It might even go against the terms and conditions of my contract.

  14. Add Tesco Mobile to your database

For the iPhone, Moneysavingexpert calculates that Tesco offer the best deal going and yet you don't offer it in your results. So currently BM is not a "whole of market" analysis.

  16. Let me pick multiple phones and give me a list of tarriffs supplying any of them.

Currently you can only choose a single phone, but in fact there are several models that I like, and the only thing that separates them is what they are going to cost me. I'd like to be able to select several phones, and have it give me the best tarrifs that supply any one of them.

  17. Allow selecting phones by features

Add a system so that rather than specifying individual phones, you can specify "any phone running the S60 operating system" or "any phone running the Google Android system". Those are the most important. After that "Any phone with a N megapixel camera" and "any phone without a camera", "any phone with web browsing etc."

We have just set our updated website live, and there are now many more available filters for your recommendations.

You can specify that you want a handset from a specific manufacturer, or with a certain amount of internal memory, and we hope that there are enough options there for you to see only the handsets that you’re interested in.

  18. Create the bill analyser for the Orange Network too..

This would be great so that everyone could use this facility. I was recommended by my partner who thought it was brilliant but he is on Vodafone. Iam on Orange so its not available for me just yet.

That would be great! Fortunately, both T-Mobile’s Flext tariff and Three’s Mix and Match plans let you do this. Those networks will have you covered :)

  20. Include support for the Vodafone MMS bundle

As mentioned on the Vodafone eForum at http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/index.php?s=&showtopic=3087&view=findpost&p=175960 , Vodafone now offer a 50 MMS bundle for £2/month. This is a new service and badly publicised, but it can save a lot of money.
